Apply for IDAP through the Oklahoma.gov website to begin the Impaired Driver Accountability Program.

Once you receive your IDAP Enrollment Guide, schedule your installation with us for every vehicle you plan to drive.

After installation, finish your enrollment and pay the IDAP program fee using the link included in your Enrollment Guide.

Once your IDAP Confirmation of Enrollment arrives by email, take it to Service Oklahoma to get your restricted driver's license.

When you reach the tentative completion date listed on your Confirmation of Enrollment, you can request a review for your Certificate of Completion.

Installation typically takes about two hours, including a full walkthrough so you're comfortable operating the device on your own. Avoid alcohol and alcohol-based products like mouthwash for 24 hours beforehand, since they can trigger a false reading.
No — the device never turns off a vehicle that's already running. A missed or failed retest is logged as a violation and may require you to come in for early service, but it won't shut your engine off on the road.
You bring your vehicle in, we download the event log from your device, and submit the required compliance report to Service Oklahoma on your behalf. Monitoring visits are required at least every 60 days — your device counts down the days remaining, and gives you a 5-day grace window before it locks out if you go past your scheduled date.
